China today harbors a lot of potential from many perspectives. The bilateral trading with this country is increasing over the year mainly by the economically active nations. The economy in scale of production has always been low and kept it at advantageous position for clinching the deals.
And, Nepal by virtue being geographically proximate to this nation and sharing long porous border should not be deprived by enjoying the boom apparent in the northern frontier of our Nation in spite of being socially, emotionally, culturally and politically near and dear.
Keeping this respect in mind, a neutral body with the involvement of various walks of professionals was formed to enhance the trade, tourism and investment in potential areas deemed feasible. My educational grooming at China, backed by my tenure as a President of Arniko Society has further provided a lot of inspiration to widen the scope and meeting the objectives as laid down in our preamble.
The way the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, His Majesty's Government of Nepal, Chinese Government, various institutions and Chambers of China have helped us towards realizing our objectives, I am pretty sure that, this Council will gradually speed its pace to establish the unique posture of this institution in Nepal and China.
Within a short tenure the council has been able to prove its expertise by organizing a grand China fair amidst the Fiftieth year of Nepal China Friendship relation and given an opportunity, the council is committed to shoulder larger responsibilities and liabilities in the days and years to come. If same level of inspiration is instilled and all stakeholders extend cooperation to this nascent council, our team will leave no stone unturned to make our dream come true and help lift the bilateral relations between these two friendly nations to a tectonic height. Therefore, I humbly request on behalf of the executive committee to all the individuals and institutions, based in Nepal and China, to join hands in our effort of enhancing the trade and business to consolidate the warm and friendly relations to sustain for years and years.
